launched its its not-for-profit workforce housing development program in in in in 2003 growing $210 000 in in in in start- up funds to nearly $47M in grants bonds and tax credits Then COVID-19 hit hard closing Mammoth Ski resort and threatening many in in in in the service industry with eviction In response to the pandemic Mammoth Lakes raised and and dispersed $1M in in emergency funds to to help many households struggling to to pay rent earning them a a a a a a a Chamber of Commerce Pandemic Champion Award Mammoth Lakes Housing
